The mission of AECbytes is to promote the advancment of technology adoption in the AEC industry, and all article contributions that further this mission are welcome!
Contributed articles are typically published as Viewpoints if they are broader commentaries on technology by industry executives, or as Tips and Tricks articles if they are focused on specific applications by subject-matter experts. Regardless of the article type, the article should not be shorter than 1500 words — AECbytes does not publish blog posts. Any images that can illustrate the content are encouraged.
More detailed, feature-length articles can also be published in the Features section.
While AEC technology vendors are welcome to submit articles for consideration in AECbytes, the article should not mention the company within the text of the article in order for it to be published as an editorial, non-promotional article. The author bio can, of course, have the company name. For a promotional article that includes the name of the vendor, it can be published as sponsored article for a fee.
